Join our growing team as a Compliance Analyst in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring regulatory adherence and contributing to a strong compliance culture.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting regulatory research, performing compliance assurance testing, evaluating risks, and supporting regulatory submissions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in regulatory compliance within an MAS-regulated institution, particularly in fintech or financial services.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager on day-to-day regulatory compliance management.
- Conducting research relating to regulations and regulatory developments relating to the business.
- Conducting compliance assurance testing and risk evaluation.
- Compiling and analysing compliance-related data for the preparation of management reports.
- Assisting with token risk assessments.
- Coordinating and preparing documentation.
- Managing the compliance calendar and regulatory submissions.
- Reviewing KYC/KYB escalations.
- Reviewing and managing incident reports.
- Working with the support team to refine compliance-related processes and procedures.
About you
Key requirements include:
- 2-3 years in a legal/ regulatory compliance role with experience in an MAS regulated institution, ideally in a fintech environment.
- Practical exposure to handling AML/CFT compliance and risk escalations.
- Familiarity with MASNet, SONAR, and similar systems.
- Knowledge of the Payment Services Act and Securities and Futures Act as well as regional cryptocurrency regulations is a bonus.
- Analytical thinking and creativity, as well as time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements within a fast-paced financial environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
- Strong English language communication skills with the ability to articulate compliance concepts clearly.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a strong commitment to upholding compliance best practices.
Other skills that would be ideal:
- Previous experience in or understanding of the cryptocurrency industry, blockchain technology, or digital assets is highly desirable.
